Croatia, Russia to Open Davis Cup Finals in Madrid in November

The ITF and Kosmos Tennis have announced the schedule for the Davis Cup Finals, taking place in Madrid from 18 to 24 November. The group stage ties will take place Monday to Thursday. One quarter-final will be played on Thursday evening while the other three will be played on Friday, followed by the semi-finals on Saturday and the final on Sunday 24 November. USTA Texas to Move Headquarters to New Facility with 46+ Courts

The USTA Texas Section intends to bring its headquarters and facilities to the Indigo Ridge Mixed Use Development in the City of Cedar Park, north of Austin, Texas. The planned Tennis Campus will include approximately 40 outdoor tennis courts, 6 to 8 indoor tennis courts, a stadium court, and related amenities for training, development, and competition. USTA National Campus to Host American-Only Women's Wild Card Tourney

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide American players footholds into the pathway toward professional tennis, the USTA will host the second of four American-only 'National Closed' women's wild-card tournaments April 23-27 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., with the singles champion earning a main-draw wild-card entry into a future ITF World Tennis Tour W15 event and the runner-up earning a qualifying wild-card entry into an event of the same level.
