Tennis Channel's World TeamTennis Season Begins July 23

Tennis Channel will air eight World TeamTennis matches in 2018 season, including the season-ending championship match. The network will have seven straight days of World TeamTennis beginning on Monday, July 23 (schedule to follow). All eight matches will also be available on-demand on the network's digital subscription service, Tennis Channel Plus. Coverage begins on Monday, July 23, at 9 p.m. ET on Tennis Channel. 2nd Annual N.Y. Open POP Tennis Tournament Returns to the NTC

The POP Tennis New York Open Tournament, hosted by USPTA Eastern & International POP Tennis Association and sponsored by Babolat, USPTA Eastern and New York Open-ATP World Tour, is taking place from July 21 to 22, at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the home of the US Open Tennis Championships. The USTA, ATP and WTA announced that a series of in-game innovations will be implemented at a number of events taking place within the United States and Canada throughout the summer, including at the 2018 US Open. These rule changes were a result of collaboration and consultation between all three organizations, and are aimed at increasing pace of play and ensuring a consistent set of enforcement standards.
