Journalist Clarey, Wilson Sporting Goods Honored by ITHOF

New York Times journalist Christopher Clarey and Wilson Sporting Goods were recently honored with special awards presented by the International Tennis Hall of Fame in recognition of significant contributions to the sport. Galbraith Nominated for USTA President, New Board Slate Named

The USTA Nominating Committee has put forth slate for the 2019-2020 term for the USTA Board of Directors. Patrick Galbraith of the USTA Pacific Northwest Section, the current USTA First Vice President, has been nominated to be the next USTA President. Santorum Receives National Public Parks Lifetime Achievement Award

Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) is pleased to announce that its CEO, Dan Santorum, received the National Public Parks Tennis Association (NPPTA) Jean and Hollis Smith Lifetime Achievement Award. USTA Pacific Northwest Section Opens Two Tennis Facilities

The USTA Pacific Northwest (USTA PNW) opened the Galbraith Tennis Center in Tacoma, Wash., and reopened the Vancouver Tennis Center in Vancouver, Wash. Both facilities offer an experience and amenities that are considered industry best. USTA Groups Pledge $350,000 to Restore Puerto Rico Tennis Facilities

The USTA, the 17 USTA Sections and the USTA Foundation announced they have pledged to donate $350,000 to restore tennis facilities and restart tennis programming throughout Puerto Rico. It has been one year since the devastation across the island, and the goal of this effort would be to give the children and families in Puerto Rico the opportunity to enjoy all of the benefits that the game of tennis can provide. Indian Wells Tennis Garden to Host USA Pickleball Championships

The 2018 USA Pickleball National Championships - expected to draw approximately 2,500 players of all ages and skill levels - will be held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden from November 3-11, 2018, in partnership with sports and entertainment management company Desert Champions and the United States Pickleball Association (USAPA).
