Univ. of Florida Director of Racquet Sports Certificate Enters a New Era

March 10, 2026

For more than five years, the University of Florida Director of Racquet Sports (DORS) Certificate Course has helped racquet sports professionals advance into leadership roles across clubs, facilities and organizations worldwide. With more than 100 graduates and strong industry recognition, UF has used the accredited online, self-paced course as a pathway for those seeking to manage complex, multi-sport racquet environments.

In 2026, UF has launched a new, more accessible format of its Director of Racquet Sports Course curriculum, designed to meet the realities of today’s industry but still fully online and fully self-paced. The original curriculum has been restructured into two focused courses, lowering the initial cost and removing traditional admissions barriers while maintaining the program’s academic depth. Course 1 focuses on Facilities, Operations, And Marketing In the Era of Multiple Racquet Sports, while Course 2 addresses Leadership, Management and Finances for the Racquets Leader.

The curriculum is taught by a nationally respected faculty team, including UF Director Kim Bastable, industry consultant Doug Cash and now former Lifetime VP Ajay Pant, who joins Course 2 to expand leadership and culture instruction. The DORS curriculum is the only course recognized by RSPA, PTR, and USTA Coaching as the industry’s most comprehensive academic business and leadership credential. Each course is priced at $1,295, with a $100 discount on Course 1 available by using code: EQUIPME.

In response to industry demand, UF has also introduced Personal Brand Management for the Racquets Industry, a practical course designed to help professionals position themselves for career advancement. The course covers best practices for resumes, cover letters, social media presence, networking, and interview preparation, and features a custom AI interview chatbot built specifically for racquet sports roles. The course concludes with each student receiving a private consulting session with search professional Len Simard. Tuition is just $285, using discount code WELCOME40.

Together, these offerings equip racquet sports professionals not only to lead facilities and teams, but to intentionally build sustainable, upward career pathways in a rapidly evolving industry. Further information and the link to join each course is available at WWW.UF-DORS.COM.
