PTR Launches H.S. Coach Program on New Coach Development Center

Wesley Chapel, FL — The Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), the world’s largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals, has announced the launch of its PTR High School Coach Course, a new online course designed to support and elevate high school tennis coaches at every stage of their coaching journey.
The PTR High School Coach Course is available to both PTR members and nonmembers and is built for anyone coaching in a high school environment, including experienced educators, PE teachers transitioning into coaching roles, community volunteers, and new coaches seeking structured guidance. The course delivers essential tools, resources, and confidence needed to create a positive, organized, and successful team experience.
Offered through PTR’s newly launched Coach Development Center, the program includes a 1.5-2-hour online course along with a suite of practical coaching resources, including preseason and in-season checklists, match day forms, post-season planning tools, and guidance on effectively working with parents.
“This program reflects PTR’s continued commitment to accessible coach education,” said PTR’s Director of Education, Isaac McBroom “High school coaches play a critical role in shaping the next generation of players, and this course is designed to give them the structure and support they need to succeed both on and off the court.”
The Foundations of Coaching High School Tennis course is also one of the first of many new courses launching on PTR’s new Learning Management System (LMS). The new platform represents a significant investment in the future of coach education, offering streamlined access, enhanced learning experiences, and an expanding catalog of online education experiences for coaches worldwide.
The PTR High School Coach Course is available to both PTR members and nonmembers, with nonmembers able to enroll for $55. PTR members receive discounted pricing when purchasing the High School Coach Program while logged in to the Coach Development Center, reinforcing PTR’s mission to deliver added value and ongoing education to its global membership.
