USA Sports to exclusively present live coverage of WTT’s upcoming season across CNBC and Fandango this December
NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — World Team Tennis (WTT), the professional mixed-gender team tennis league co-founded by Billie Jean King in 1974 and returning for its 47th season in December, today announced a broadcast partnership with USA Sports, the sports division of Versant, which is home to premier sporting events airing on USA Network, Golf Channel, CNBC and Fandango.
USA Sports will exclusively air all six of WTT’s live matches on CNBC in primetime this December, bringing the relaunched league to the network’s wide-reaching national audience, while Fandango will provide live free streaming coverage for the six matches.
“In creating a new era of World Team Tennis, our goal is to build a sports and entertainment property that delivers value to fans wherever they are, while tapping into adjacent audiences that can help grow the sport,” said WTT Chief Executive Officer Stephen Amritraj. “Versant’s portfolio is uniquely compelling because it allows us to do both. CNBC has a natural connection to the traditional tennis audience while Fandango provides an opportunity to reach fans from a streaming perspective.”
WTT joins USA Sports’ robust portfolio of premium sports rights, which includes the WNBA, NASCAR Cup Series, Premier League, Bundesliga, WWE, the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Pac-12 football and basketball, LOVB (League One Volleyball), and more.
“We’re excited to bring live World Team Tennis to CNBC and Fandango this December,” said Celia Kohl, SVP of Strategy & Business Development at Versant. “USA Sports is always looking to bring growth-minded leagues that innovate and excite into our portfolio, and we believe WTT is one of those leagues that will resonate with our audiences across both CNBC and Fandango.”
WTT’s upcoming season will feature matchups between all-new clubs, bringing cities together to rally behind home teams including:
New York Empire Racquet Club: December 1-2 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York
Toronto North Racquet Club: December 5-6 at Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario
Florida Flamingos Racquet Club: December 14-15 at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida
