Fed Cup to Come to Everett, Wash., for U.S. vs. Latvia Feb. 7-8

US Open Series Adds Hall of Fame Open in Newport, R.I.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) and International Tennis Hall of Fame announced that the Hall of Fame Open, an ATP 250 grass-court tournament that has long kicked off the U.S. summer tennis season, will officially join the US Open Series beginning in 2020, increasing the number of ATP events on the Series to six and reconnecting the US Open with its original home in Newport, R.I. Stephens Is USTA Foundation's First National Excellence Ambassador

The USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association announced that it has appointed 2017 US Open Champion and world No. 23 Sloane Stephens as the National Excellence Program Ambassador. France Downs Australia, 3-2, to Win 2019 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas

France won the 2019 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas Final, defeating Australia 3-2 at the RAC Arena, Perth. Top Seed Tennis Club to be Home of ITF Pan American Chps.

The United States Tennis Association today announced that Top Seed Tennis Club (TSCB) in Nicholasville, Ky., will be the home of the 2019 ITF Pan American Tennis Championships junior tournament. The USTA announced that total player compensation for the 2019 US Open will surpass $57 million for the first time, maintaining the US Open as the richest purse in tennis history. USTA Names US Open Military Appreciation Day For Lt. Joe Hunt

The USTA today announced that the US Open’s annual Military Appreciation Day will be named in honor of Lt. Joe Hunt. Hunt, who won the U.S. Nationals in 1943 by beating Jack Kramer while on leave from the Navy, was killed when his Navy fighter plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean in February of 1945. He is the only U.S. Nationals or US Open champion to lose his life in service to his country. (Full story …)

Chris Evert Named New Chair of USTA Foundation Board of Directors

The USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), announced that it has appointed 18-time Grand Slam singles champion and former world No. 1 Chris Evert as Chair of the USTA Foundation’s Board of Directors. In her new role, Evert will serve as the USTA Foundation’s spokesperson and ambassador to promote its mission, raise funds and increase the impact of its national outreach efforts to under-resourced youth. New Racquet Sports/Wellness Facility Approved in Raleigh

Triangle Racquet Sports, LLC, with support from the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is excited to announce a state-of-the-art racquet sports and health and wellness facility coming to Brier Creek in Raleigh. The Raleigh City Council unanimously approved a 50-year lease with extensions up to 100 years for the venue located on the 48-acre lot of land owned by the City of Raleigh on Mt. Herman Road.
