US Open Qualifying Tourney Extended to Five Days

The USTA announced that the 2019 US Open Qualifying Tournament will begin on Monday, August 19 and run through Friday, August 23. This will mark the first time that the tournament will begin on Monday, as opposed to Tuesday, extending the event to five days, from four days in previous years. (Full story …)

The USTA Texas Section intends to bring its headquarters and facilities to the Indigo Ridge Mixed Use Development in the City of Cedar Park, north of Austin, Texas. USTA National Campus to Host American-Only Women's Wild Card Tourney

As part of its ongoing efforts to provide American players footholds into the pathway toward professional tennis, the USTA will host the second of four American-only 'National Closed' women's wild-card tournaments April 23-27 at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., with the singles champion earning a main-draw wild-card entry into a future ITF World Tennis Tour W15 event and the runner-up earning a qualifying wild-card entry into an event of the same level. Chris Evert Named New Chair of USTA Foundation Board of Directors

The USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), announced that it has appointed 18-time Grand Slam singles champion and former world No. 1 Chris Evert as Chair of the USTA Foundation’s Board of Directors. In her new role, Evert will serve as the USTA Foundation’s spokesperson and ambassador to promote its mission, raise funds and increase the impact of its national outreach efforts to under-resourced youth. New Racquet Sports/Wellness Facility Approved in Raleigh

Triangle Racquet Sports, LLC, with support from the United States Tennis Association (USTA), is excited to announce a state-of-the-art racquet sports and health and wellness facility coming to Brier Creek in Raleigh.
