Selkirk Sport Schedules Pickleball Programming at PGA Show, Jan. 24-26

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Jan. 17, 2024 — Led by Catherine Parenteau, who captured 18 wins in 2023 and is currently the No. 2 ranked women’s professional pickleball player in the world, along with James Ignatowich and Pablo Tellez, both ranked in the men’s top 10 in the world, leading pickleball brand Selkirk Sport will host match play and demo sessions at the 2024 PGA Show from Jan. 24-26 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
Additional pickleball exhibition participants include Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and a top 50 all-time NBA player, Rick Barry, who is both an avid golfer and pickleball player; LPGA Major Champion and four-time Team USA Solheim Cup winner Sherri Steinhauer; and 1977 Wimbledon Doubles champion JoAnne Russell. Upon retiring from their respective sports, each of these former world-class athletes has embraced pickleball to continue their competitive spirit.
The pickleball courts, located alongside all the action in the PGA Show exhibit hall (Booths 2983 and 3183), will host a full line-up of programming which includes clinics, beat the pro sessions and exhibition match play among an all-star line-up of the top professional pickleball players, top coaches and brand ambassadors. Demo sessions will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 24-25, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2:30-3:30 p.m.

As part of the programming, Mark Renneson, one of the most respected pickleball coaches in the world, will host a series of clinics on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 24-25. Renneson, the founder of Third Shot Sports and Pickleball Coaching International, travels across North America offering fun, fast-paced and practical clinics to players of all ages and skill levels.
