UF Names 12 Director of Racquets Certificate Course Graduates
The new Director of Racquets Certificate course at The University of Florida has completed its first year with 12 course graduates and over 40 current students. The certificate course, which is supported by USTA, USPTA and PTR, provides a business-based education for tennis and racquets professionals who want to develop into the role of director or who want to improve their competency within the role. The curriculum was developed by experts in the industry.
The course opened June 1, 2021, with a fully online delivery through UF’s College of Health and Human Performance. Graduates completed 10 learning modules, 10 written assignments, a mid-term and a final exam, taking an average of seven months to complete the work. The coursework also is included in UF’s Masters of Sport Management.
