Industry Veteran Randy Futty Joins Putterman Athletics
DeLand, FL (March 30, 2022) - Putterman Athletics is proud to announce the hiring of Randy Futty to its staff as their newly created Executive Vice President of Business Development. Randy brings a wealth of knowledge, relationships, and experience in developing new markets, products, and partnerships.
He is past chairman of the USTA National Technical Committee and has served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the American Sports Builders Association in a number of past years. Since joining the industry in 1992, Randy has been involved with all facets of court construction, court surfacing, and the court products manufacturing market.
Putterman’s CEO, Benjamin Beiler, and its President, Christopher Allen, jointly commented: “Randy Futty’s addition is part of the broader strategy to continually strengthen our team in all departments and expand our reach beyond our current offerings for athletic facilities of all types. Our goal is to become the go-to manufacturer and supplier in our industry. Toward that end, in the last three years Putterman Athletics made large investments in equipment, software technology, personnel, inventory, and customer service delivery, and significantly expanded its products and service offerings. We are excited that Randy can build on the solid foundation that is already in place, and confident that he will take us to greater heights!”
A speaker at dozens of industry events and seminars throughout North American over the past two decades, Randy has helped thousands of people in the tennis industry through his transfer of knowledge and hands-on encounters. These efforts and others were recognized with the selection of Randy as the prestigious Tennis Industry Magazine National Service Award winner in 2016.
An active USTA league player, he lives, and works out of his home-office, near Charlottesville, VA with his wife Laura, and his two daughters, Megan and Emily.
