USTA SoCal Announces 2021 Partnership with Tecnifibre
Los Angeles, Calif. - USTA Southern California and Tecnifibre are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership beginning in 2021. One of the fastest growing premium brands in the tennis industry, Tecnifibre will be the Official Ball of the Signature Series, a collection of elite major tournaments on the USTA SoCal competitive schedule.
Tecnifibre’s growth is driven by the emergence of 2020 ATP Finals champion and World No. 4 Daniil Medvedev and the implementation of strategic synergies with Lacoste, Tecnifibre’s parent company.
“Tecnifibre balls have been chosen by some of the most prestigious tournaments and clubs in the world,” says Marla Messing, Chief Executive Officer at USTA Southern California. “We are excited to partner with a rapidly growing high quality company to bring our players a premium, competition-level tennis ball as they participate in our most prestigious events.”
As the Official Ball of the Signature Series, Tecnifibre will be a prominent presence at the most significant tournaments within the Section, including the 2021 Open Sectionals, Super Sectionals, and the 119th SoCal Junior Sectional Championships, the largest sectional competition in the nation.
“We are thrilled to partner with the USTA SoCal team to not only bring players all over Southern California a high quality ball but also introduce them to the Tecnifibre brand and its portfolio,” says Marco Baron, CEO of Tecnifibre North America. “The great history and legacy of Southern California tennis aligns well with the aspirations of our brand in the United States.”
Tecnifibre balls are currently available at most tennis specialist retail and online stores across the country. For any product inquiries, please contact fraveau@tecnifibre.com.
