TennisONE to Engage Fans with Live Action of World TeamTennis
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — World TeamTennis has partnered with TennisONE to engage fans with a revolutionary new sports tech platform that elevates an international pay-per-view livestream to an interactive watch party experience. This new CrowdVIEW LIVE feature in the TennisONE App lets fans experience live sports together with friends and other fans around the world, face-to-face or via chat stream!
The TennisONE App is the Official App of World TeamTennis and all nine of its teams, with live scores, interactive draws, exclusive content, practice court and player livestreams, and international pay-per-view action of all 66 matches that will take place over a three-week season at The Greenbrier in West Virginia from July 12 - August 2.
“Our CrowdVIEW LIVE watch parties bring fans face-to-face with friends and other fans around the world to share the emotions of a live sports experience,” said TennisONE’s CEO, Kristin Geer. “Something we’ve all been missing during the pandemic.”
“World TeamTennis is proud to partner with TennisONE to bring fans even closer to the action throughout the 2020 season,” said WTT CEO Carlos Silva. “This is one of the best fields we’ve had in our 45 years, and with all of our teams in one location tennis fans will love CrowdVIEW LIVE to bring them closer to the action than ever before.”
The star-studded field of players for the 2020 World TeamTennis season includes reigning Australian Open singles champion Sofia Kenin, 2017 US Open winner Sloane Stephens, 23-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, tennis’ all-time winningest doubles team Mike and Bob Bryan, six-time Grand Slam champion Kim Clijsters, 2016 Olympic gold medalist Monica Puig, three-time Grand Slam doubles champion Jack Sock and Canadian former Wimbledon singles finalists Genie Bouchard.
Domestically, CrowdVIEW LIVE will be offered to fans in the TennisONE App throughout the World TeamTennis season, both as a second screen platform for teams to host watch parties with fans in their respective cities, and in recap watch parties with players to relive highlights with fans. Internationally, CrowdVIEW LIVE will be offered to fans as part of their pay-per-view livestream with all the match action.
“We believe our cutting-edge technology will change the way fans consume sports in the future,” said Geer. “It’s next-level technology for the next-generation of fans, offering a safe way to stay connected with their favorite teams in these uncertain times.”
CrowdVIEW LIVE is available exclusively in the TennisONE App.
