Bleachr Releases new CrowdVIEW LIVE for Remote Sports Fans
MINNEAPOLIS, MN (July 27 2020) — Bleachr LLC launched a first-of-its-kind multi-directional livestream watch party platform to engage remote sports fans who are unable to attend a live sports event due to Covid19. The first use case is in the TennisONE App for World TeamTennis, which is hosting all nine of its teams at the historic Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia as they play 66 matches over three weeks.
“The response has been even better than we expected,” said Kristin Geer, Bleachr’s CEO. “Fans really miss live sports, and CrowdVIEW LIVE allows them to feel like they are part of the action as they share in the fun with other fans from around the world.”
International fans have access to pay-per-view for all 66 World TeamTennis matches from The Greenbrier. CrowdVIEW LIVE is included in the pay-per-view package, so fans across the world can take part in watch parties and experience live sports at the same time.
Additionally, professional players can take center stage in select CrowdVIEW LIVE watch parties where fans get to meet them face-to-face to ask questions and have a conversation with them. Fans worldwide have already been treated to face-to-face access with World TeamTennis stars, including Sabine Lisicki, Jonny O’Mara, Nicole Melichar, Nick Monroe, and Marcelo Arevalo among many others.
CrowdVIEW LIVE player streams are available exclusively in the TennisONE App for the duration of the World TeamTennis season, through August 2nd. TennisONE is the Official App of World TeamTennis.
