Multi-Sport Demo Schedule Announced for Next-Court at Racquet & Paddle Sports Show

NORWALK, Conn. (Jan. 6, 2020) – Tennis, Pickleball and POP Tennis demonstrations will be offered each day on NEXT- COURT, a universal multi-sport court located on the Show Floor of the 2020 Racquet & Paddle Sports Show, Jan. 22-24, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, two hitting lanes, adjacent to the NEXT-COURT, will provide racquet sports professionals with the opportunity to personally test the newest racquet and paddle sports equipment right on the Show Floor.

Court activations will feature tennis programming by the USTA; POP Tennis professional demonstrations, clinics and open play with attendees; Pickleball demonstrations; and RED (Regional Education Day) programming presented by USTA Florida, USPTA Florida and RacquetFit.

The 2020 Racquet & Paddle Sports Show will bring together racquet sports professionals, industry leaders, facility suppliers and wide-ranging product manufacturers from around the world for merchandise sourcing, product testing, education and professional networking. The industry gathering will begin with hands-on product testing at Demo Day: Lake Nona Experience, at the USTA National Campus, on Jan. 21.

The Racquet & Paddle Sports Show Floor, open Jan. 22-24 and co-located with the PGA Merchandise Show at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), will feature more than 100 exhibits; racquet and paddle sport demonstrations on a multi-sport NEXT-COURT; a Killerspin UnplugNPlay Table Tennis Tournament; complimentary industry presentations on the Main Stage and in the Retail Studio; and extensive educational programming, including the Tennis Owners & Managers (TOM) Conference and the Complimentary RED (Regional Education Day) (Jan. 22), presented by USTA Florida, USPTA Florida and RacquetFit.

USTA, USPTA and PTR members may earn up to five USPTA FL continuing education credits during the complimentary Regional Education Day, and additional education credits may be earned during complimentary Main Stage programs. POP Tennis professionals will conduct demonstrations, clinics and open play with attendees. Attending POP Tennis professionals include Brian Wan, two-time National POP Tennis Singles Champion (2017, 2018) and POP Tennis US Open Mixed Doubles winner (2018); Scott Doerner, current POP Tennis World Doubles Champion (along with brother Austin Doerner); and Mitch Kutner, current President of The International POP Tennis Association, and three-time National Men’s doubles finalist (2000, 2003, 2018) and US Open Mixed doubles finalist (2017).
