Dunlop, Van der Meer Tennis Expand, Extend Partnership
Greenville, S.C. (Jan 21, 2020) — Dunlop announced it has extended its long running partnership with Van Der Meer Tennis, the legendary tennis teaching center and resort located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With the new multi-year extension, Dunlop will become not only the official ball of Van Der Meer Tennis, but also the official racquet. This means Dunlop racquets and balls will be exclusively used by all teaching professionals and sold on the premises.
“Van Der Meer Tennis is excited to extend its long-standing endorsement of Dunlop tennis balls to include racquets,” said Pat Van der Meer. “Dunlop has always been a great company with a proud history all over the world. With Srixon behind it, Dunlop is expanding its presence in the tennis industry, and Van Der Meer Tennis is looking forward to a successful partnership.”
“Our partnership with Van Der Meer Tennis goes back decades, and it’s always been a positive one for our brand,” said Jeff Lininger, National Sales Manager for Dunlop. “Thousands of players have used our tennis balls at the center over the years, and so with our new SX Spin Boost range debuting, this is the perfect time to add racquets to the mix.”
