Ashaway Sponsors Four-Time British Squash Champion Alison Waters

Ashaway Racket Strings is pleased to announce that PSA World #11 Alison Waters has signed a sponsorship agreement with Ashaway Squash. No stranger to Ashaway, Alison has used SuperNick┬« XL string throughout her career and will now be using Ashaway’s PowerKill┬« 115ZX racket, strung at 28 Lbs.

“We’ve obviously watched Alison’s career for a long time, and we’re delighted now that she will be using our rackets as well,” said Ashaway’s Steve Crandall. “She is a fabulous player and we look forward to working with her.”

As a junior player, Waters won her first major squash tournament - the British Under-12 title - at the age of nine-and-a-half. Since making her PSA Tour debut in 2000, London born Alison has proven to be a fierce competitor and prolific player at British events. After winning her first Tour title at the Forbes Open in 2005 Alison reached a PSA World Ranking of #3 in 2010. Her career highlights include: 4-Time British National Champion; 10 PSA Tour Titles; Commonwealth Games Silver and Bronze medalist; twice World Team Championships Gold Medalist; and a professional win ratio of 61.9%.

Said Alison, “After using SuperNick XL for my entire career, I am so pleased to be signing with Ashaway Squash. I absolutely love the PowerKill 115ZX racket and can’t wait to start the new season!”
