Family tennis teams compete for Championship
NEW YORK, NY — More than 20 of the top family tennis teams from 14 different states qualified to play for a national title in the 2013 National Family Tennis Championships from August 23-26, 2013 at Sportime Randall’s Island New York City. Teams receive travel, hotel accommodations as well as tickets to see the best in the game play at the USTA/Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. For more information visit www.FamilyTennis.com.
After winning NFTC tournaments at their local tennis facilities, teams traveled to one of three regional playoffs including: The Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, MO.; The Copeland-Cox Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, AL.; and The Tennis Center at College Park in MD. Winners and wild card teams were invited to compete at the National Championships.
The schedule for the finals includes: Friday, August 23rd @ 4 PM-7 PM; Saturday, August 24 @ 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM; Sunday, August 25th @ 9:30 AM - 1 PM.
