NEW PROPULSE 4 SHOE: MORE POWERFUL, DYNAMIC AND EVEN FASTER TO THE BALL

In tennis, players combine quick acceleration, fast stoping, lateral and diagonal movements and propulsion on the forefoot. A specially designed shoe is essential and can help players get to the ball faster. Based on these observations, Babolat has yet again improved the Propulse range with new technologies for players seeking unmatched performance.

The new Propulse 4 was developed in close collaboration with Andy Roddick (USA — formerly ranked #1 on the ATP circuit and winner of the 2003 U.S. Open), from the standpoint of design and game characteristics.

It is a high performance shoe that features 100% tennis technologies. With Side 2 Side (a dynamic system under the forefoot), the Propulse 4 improves lateral movements to bring greater reactivity to the foot when launching forward and restores balance with every step for better footwork.

Developed in collaboration with Michelin, experts on traction, the Propulse 4 offers optimal abrasion resistance and grip thanks to the new Michelin OCS2 outsole for all court surfaces. It features an innovative sole structure directly inspired by rally racing tires. Offering optimum traction on all courts, the Propulse 4 provides the perfect balance between sliding and grip on clay courts and is durable with more resistance to wear and tear on all surfaces.

Players need exceptional support when braking fast and launching forward to restore balance, which makes it crucial for the foot to be correctly supported while under extreme pressure. The true core of the shoe, the new LSS (Lateral Stability System) combines support and stability. Additionally, the Footbelt technology offers a tailor made fit, optimizing support.

Finally, the Propulse 4 continues to benefit from the most advanced technology and expertise of Babolat. The Kompressor System offers high performance heel cushioning technology with maximum shock absorption. For a better resistance to abrasion in high-wear areas the Cell Shield makes for an extremely comfortable shoe with long-lasting ventilation.
