Proceeds benefit Braden’s charity, Junior Tennis Ambassadors (JTA), an organization formed to teach the values, ethics and morals of tennis to the youth across the world, said Braden.
“As a former elementary school teacher, I saw hundreds of young children who could benefit by being involved in tennis. I decided to start JTA to teach young children how to coach tennis to their classmates,” said Braden. David Kramer, son of the tennis legend Jack Kramer said, “tennis is a sport that obligates the players to follow the rules respecting the sport of their opponents.”
The board members of ACCESS, an executive network that brings businesses together while giving back to the community, are assisting Braden in the creation and execution of this raffle.
“ACCESS’ new affiliation with JTA opens doors not only for the children, but for the business executives in our organization to find new and exciting ways to give back to their communities,” said founder and board chair Ed Inal.
Braden is an award recipient of the International Tennis Hall of Fame and a world famous tennis instructor who has taught and coached tennis players from amateurs, professional tennis players, celebrities and leaders around the world. Braden started the Vic Braden Tennis College and other sports research centers in multiple cities across the nation. He remains one of the top tennis professionals in the world with his high tech video training systems.
The JTA program was formed in 2007 by Braden and provides free instruction to adult volunteers who will then certify young elementary and junior high school tennis players. The young tennis coaches also receive free instruction that qualifies them as permanent tennis coaches for classmates throughout the school year. Proceeds from this raffle benefit JTA.
