Babolat Sponsors National Senior Tennis Championships: Babolat World Tennis Classic Set For January 2008
Boulder, CO -– Babolat, one of the leading manufacturers of tennis racquets, announces they are sponsoring the upcoming United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Senior Tennis Championships. The Babolat World Tennis Classic is widely regarded as the pre-eminent adult/senior tennis event. Over 720 male and female entrants in age categories ranging from 35 – 90 will be competing at the world-famous Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, CA. Players from across the United States and overseas are expected to play at the 1760 acre planned community. This senior event attracts more exposure than all other senior tennis tournaments combined. The fact that Babolat is now the main sponsor of this event is just icing on the cake!”
Ed Trost and Jayne Robertson, the husband and wife team that runs the event, expressed their gratitude. “We’re thrilled to have Babolat sponsoring our tournament this year and into the foreseeable future. The fact that they’re such a well-respected name in tennis helps to elevate the recognition of this already popular event.”
