Dunlop Sweepstakes Celebrates James Blake's Return
GREENVILLE, SC — To mark James Blake’s return to the Dunlop Tennis Tour Team - the most accomplished in tennis — Dunlop Sports Group Americas is holding a sweepstakes asking: Which Dunlop Aerogel racquet will the American star choose to play?
It’s no secret that Blake loves Dunlop’s design and technology, but he’s not yet announced which of Dunlop’s new Aerogel racquets he’s decided perfectly fits his game. That announcement will be made later this month in London, immediately prior to the Wimbledon Championships.
One lucky sweepstakes contestant who correctly names James Blake’s racquet of choice will fly with a friend to New York for a 3-day, 2-night stay and will attend the U.S. Open — one of the greatest events in tennis - where they will see the Dunlop Aerogel racquets in action.
The winner will also receive a personally signed Blake Aerogel racquet and a tennis bag filled with Dunlop gear - making the total Grand Prize retail value approximately $5,000.
The sweepstakes runs from June 9th until June 22nd. For specific details and to enter, please go to: dunlopsweepstakes.com or to any of the following participating websites:
“The sweepstakes is as fun for me as it is my fans and those loyal to Dunlop. I’ve been using the Aerogel line in practice over the last couple weeks, and the choice will be tough. Besides the amazing technology of these racquets, I really like the great colors and design of the Aerogel line. But which racquet will it be?” Blake asked with his trademark smile.
“The idea to get the tennis community involved in James’ transition to Aerogel was done because we have been asked by so many people, ‘Which racquet will James be playing ?’” said Steve Hall, Dunlop’s Director of Marketing of Racquet Sports. “We thought we would have some fun in the process.”
The Dunlop Tennis Tour Team now boasts 4 players in the ATP top 13 — Tommy Robredo (7th) James Blake (8th), Tommy Haas (10th), and Tomas Berdych (13th) — all of them playing with the extraordinary technology of the new Dunlop Aerogel racquet.
Dunlop Aerogel 2HUNDRED. Perfect for high performance players with a long swing, the 2HUNDRED allows for extra power and spin with precision shotmaking.
Dunlop Aerogel 3HUNDRED. A control oriented racquet ideal for high performance/club level players. With Aerogel, the 2007 3HUNDRED is slightly lighter than last year’s model.
Dunlop Aerogel 5HUNDRED. Perfect for serious players looking for extra power and playability from a lightweight frame. The tapered frame stiffens the racquet for tremendous strength.
Dunlop Aerogel 5HUNDRED TOUR. Slightly heavier and stiffer than the 5HUNDRED, this racquet hits a consumer segment that continues to grow in the United States.
Dunlop Aerogel 7HUNDRED. Power, Control, and Comfort all together in a lightweight oversize frame. This racquet is ideal for players seeking a nice blend of both power and control.
Dunlop Aerogel 9HUNDRED. The most powerful racquet in the Aerogel line, this racquet has some serious punch. With the addition of Vibrocore technology this racquet is ideal for players seeking extreme power without sacrificing comfort.
