Saving Time and Money with TennisConnect

For Jack Miller, the tennis director of The Club at Dunes West in Mount Pleasant, S.C., it's all about customer service. Miller has been at The Club for 12 years, and they take customer service very seriously.

"We're a high-end gated community, with homes ranging to more than $1 million," says Miller. "Our parent company, John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, really cares about how we take care of our customers, and wanted to take our customer service to a new level."

That's why, says Miller, The Club at Dunes West started using TennisConnect for all of its administrative and communication needs. The Club has nine hard and clay courts and three pros and offers lessons, clinics, and open play. More than 20 league teams play out of The Club.

"The TennisConnect Court Scheduler is just tremendous," says Miller. "My players can log in anytime to reserve their courts. Without TennisConnect, scheduling could be a full-time job. But now, I don't have that cost of needing someone there to take calls and check people in."

And keeping in touch is simple. "For our junior classes, everyone goes to the website to sign up," says Miller. "That gives me all their contact info, and I can email them and keep in touch." For other administrative tasks, Miller says he can simply import information from the TennisConnect website right into an Excel file.

"Once you have your database filled out, you can narrow down the email list based on certain criteria," he says. "For instance, if I want to contact just women 3.5 and below, it's easy to do now. And I can update information in a matter of minutes."

All the club's events are listed in the eCalendar, and members can click to get more info. Miller also posts photos from member events.

"I'm not a computer guru, but if you can type on a keyboard, then you can use TennisConnect," says Miller. "In a matter of maybe a week, you can have it all figured out. And the other great thing is their customer service. If I have a problem, I just pick up the phone and it's taken care of.

"TennisConnect saves me a ton of time and a ton of money. It's a cool product, absolutely."
