Wilson Sporting Goods Co., and RecycleBalls announced today they are partnering to collect, recycle, and repurpose tennis balls across the United States. RecycleBalls is a non-profit organization founded in 2014, with the goal of collecting and recycling the 125 million tennis balls that end up in US landfills each year and then converting these tennis balls into innovative and sustainable products. 2018 US Open to Feature Broadcast Coverage on All Courts
The USTA today announced that for the first time, broadcast coverage will be featured from all tournament courts - up to sixteen. All men’s and women’s singles and doubles matches, as well as mixed doubles matches, during the 2018 US Open are scheduled to be produced from Monday, August 27, through Sunday, September 9. Tennis players, and the tennis industry, can thank both the late Vic Braden and Jim Fromuth for helping to improve their games and grow this sport.
