USTA Announces Winners of the 2023 Umpire Awards
The USTA announced that Thomas Conter, Denise Alexander and Brian Earley were named winners of the Nicholas E. Powell Award, Woodie Walker C.A.R.E. Award, and John T. McGovern Award, respectively. Lindsay Davenport Named Next U.S. Billie Jean King Cup Captain

Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2024 Ballot; Fan Voting Starts Sept. 27
Indian tennis great Leander Paes is one of six nominees in the Player Category for the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s ballot for the Class of 2024. In addition to Paes, Cara Black, Ana Ivanović, Carlos Moyá, Daniel Nestor and Flavia Pennetta return to the ballot in the Player Category.
