Lindsay Davenport Named Next U.S. Billie Jean King Cup Captain

Hall of Fame Announces Class of 2024 Ballot; Fan Voting Starts Sept. 27

Indian tennis great Leander Paes is one of six nominees in the Player Category for the International Tennis Hall of Fame’s ballot for the Class of 2024. In addition to Paes, Cara Black, Ana Ivanović, Carlos Moyá, Daniel Nestor and Flavia Pennetta return to the ballot in the Player Category. 2019 US Open Prize Money Tops $57M, Richest Purse in Tennis History

The USTA announced that total player compensation for the 2019 US Open will surpass $57 million for the first time, maintaining the US Open as the richest purse in tennis history. The USTA worked collaboratively with the ATP and WTA Tour to determine specific prize money levels on a round-by-round basis, including for the US Open Qualifying Tournament. USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), today announced that for the fifth consecutive year, it has partnered with longtime US Open sponsor Chase to award 10 National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) chapters with a grant. This year, Chase has increased those grants to $15,000 to each chapter. Funding supports year-round tennis and education programming through the A.C.E. curriculum (Academic Creative Engagement), the USTA Foundation’s signature academic initiative. Tennis Industry Magazine Names 2017 'Champions of Tennis'

Ajay Pant, the national tennis director for Life Time, has been named “Person of the Year” for 2017 by Tennis Industry magazine in the publication’s January 2018 issue. ITA, PlaySight Extend Collegiate Tennis Partnership

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and PlaySight are pleased to announce an extension of their collegiate tennis partnership. Over the past two years, the ITA has helped facilitate PlaySight's SmartCourt expansion across all divisions of the sport.
