Universal Tennis Named PTR Partner of the Year
Hilton Head Island, SC - - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) presented its annual awards this week during its International Tennis Symposium on Hilton Head Island, S.C., including its “Partner of the Year” award, to Universal Tennis.
Since signing the official partnership exactly one year ago, Universal Tennis has been fully committed to supporting PTR and growth of tennis through an incredible collection of coaching resources for the PTR membership. Universal Tennis has demonstrated its strong support of PTR coaches by providing exclusive member pricing to access Universal Tennis’ innovative UTR Platform, anchored by the Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) Powered by Oracle, the premier platform for growing tennis participation for players of all levels.
Universal Tennis has also created the UTR Events Certified program as an added benefit and recognition for PTR members who complete the program. Universal Tennis is an integral part of PTR’s efforts to deliver cutting-edge tools, technology, data and analytics to support the continued education and professional development of PTR coaches.
Universal Tennis is also supporting the growth and opportunity of competitive play for PTR coaches through its integration with PTR’s Tennis in a Can Program, an eleven-week online program specifically for high school coaches developed in partnership with Nick Bollettieri, and by serving as a co-sponsor for the PTR/UTR 11K Championships. Universal Tennis has an incredibly supportive team that has been all in, collaborating and working with PTR to create new approaches and opportunities for PTR coaches to grow the game.
