Game-Set-Match Opens Fourth Retail Location in Colorado

Game-Set-Match Inc. has opened its fourth retail speciality racquet sports store in Boulder, Colo. The new retail location has been the longtime home of Rocky Mountain Racquet Specialists, owned by the late Steve Vorhaus, who tragically lost his life in July.

“Steve was an icon in tennis and we are committed to continuing his legacy with our service to tennis in Northern Colorado,” says Adam Burbary, president of Game-Set-Match. “These are hard shoes to fill but our team is fully prepared to welcome his loyal friends and customers through our doors.”

Game-Set-Match also announced the new corporate position of commercial director, which will be filled by Kris Johnson. She will serve as the industry contact to manage commerical purchasing, planning, execution, marketing and business development.

Johnson brings over 30 years of experience, having served as the territory manager for Wilson Racquet Sports in a six-state region. She was the first female president of Colorado Tennis Association, is a winner of Wilson’s prestigious Jack Kramer Award, and served on the national USTA Adult Recreation Committee.
