Top Seed Tennis Club to be Home of ITF Pan American Chps.

White Plains, N.Y., September 23, 2019 – The United States Tennis Association today announced that Top Seed Tennis Club (TSCB) in Nicholasville, Ky., will be the home of the 2019 ITF Pan American Tennis Championships junior tournament. The event, which runs from Saturday, October 5, through Saturday, October 12, will mark the first time an ITF Junior Circuit tournament is held indoors in the United States.

The ITF Pan American Tennis Championships will make its debut in the state of Kentucky having previously been held outdoors in Charlotte, N.C., and Tulsa, Okla. The prestigious junior tournament has seen the likes of Madison Keys, Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, Sofia Kenin, Caty McNally, Taylor Townsend, Reilly Opelka and Eugenie Bouchard participate in the event.

Americans Alexandra Yepifanova of Bradenton, Fla., and Dali Blanch of Miami, Fla., headline the top juniors who will be competing in the event. Yepifanova, the No. 22-ranked junior in the world, was the girls’ singles finalist at the US Open Junior Championships earlier this month. Blanch, ranked in the Top 100 of the ITF Junior Rankings, was the boys’ singles finalist at the Grade 1 J1 Cuenca juniors event in Cuenca, Ecuador, earlier this year.

Top Seed Tennis Club has 12 hard indoor courts which will be used for tournament matches, while the facility’s nine hard outdoor courts will be open for practice times. The first two days of the tournament will showcase boys’ and girls’ qualifying matches to determine the main draw of 64 players. The main draw will begin on Monday, October 7, and will wrapping up with the finals on Saturday, October 12.
