PTR Launches Coach Development Days
Hilton Head Island, SC - - Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) announced the launch of Coach Development Days. These highly interactive one to two day workshops with industry leaders covering topics in the fields of Junior Development, Adult Development, Performance, Club Programming and Business are being held at PTR’s new Regional Education Centers.
The first Coach Development Day is set for June 1-2, at Fremont Tennis Center in Fremont, California. Kids Tennis guru, Mike Barrell’s workshop will focus on understanding the competitive process for young players and how to organize and manage age appropriate and motivational events. Attendees will be actively involved on court in competitions, drills and activities that are proven winners around the world in his ‘Growing Little Court Warriors’. Mike will also conduct a Coach Development Day June 4-5, at Tennis Center Sand Point in Seattle, Washington.
Emma Doyle is also in the spotlight at the Coach Development Day at JTCC in College Park, Maryland, near Washington DC, on June 5. The world-renowned speaker and coach from Melbourne will conduct her workshop titled ‘Improve Your Language Patterns for Accelerated Player Performance’. Judy Murray calls Doyle, “One of the most dynamic and professional coaches I’ve ever met.”
