Hilton Head Pro League Donates to PTR Foundation
Hilton Head Island, SC - PTR Foundation, the charitable arm of Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), is grateful for a generous donation - $2,800 - from The Pro League of Hilton Head Island.
During its Spring Season, the Pro League raised money benefit the PTR Wheelchair Tennis Championships that will take place on Hilton Head Island, September 20-23, 2018. The tournament, with men’s women’s quad and juniors divisions featuring top players from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Great Britain, Netherlands and USA, will be held at Chaplin Park Tennis Center.
The donation from The Pro League will provide travel and other grants for players in need. Volunteers are needed for the event. To volunteer, please call Julie at 843-785-7244.
It is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with nearly 16,000 members in 125 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and serving tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
