Asian Tennis Federation Partners with PTR

Hilton Head Island, SC (July 11, 2018) — The Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) has announced a three year partnership with Professional Tennis Registry (PTR), the largest global international organization of tennis coaches. PTR’s mission to educate and serve tennis coaches around the world in order to grow the game is shared by the ATF and its 44 member nations.

PTR will be an Official Continuous Learning Provider of the ATF, and the agreement will provide PTR with expanded opportunities to promote coach education activities throughout Asia.

“The ATF and PTR share the view that competent, motivated and enthusiastic coaches are the best ambassadors for our sport, helping us increase participation and develop high performance players - More Players/Better Players!” said ATF President Anil Khanna. “We recognize the caliber and breadth of PTR’s continuing education courses have provided coaches the tools to develop players from 10 and under through adult, from recreational to advanced, all of which support the philosophy of the ITF’s successful Tennis Play and Stay Campaign. The ATF believes that these PTR courses can benefit the Asian nations and add value to the national certification courses currently run by the member nations and the ITF. We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with PTR to improve the level of coaching in Asia.”
