ITA, Tennis Recruiting Network Renew Deal

February 28, 2018

TEMPE, Ariz. (Feb. 28, 2018) – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association and Tennis Recruiting Network announce an extension of their alliance, whereby Tennis Recruiting Network (TennisRecruiting.net) will serve as the Official Junior Tennis Information Source of the ITA.

TRN offers a wide range of content and services for college-bound athletes, coaches, and tennis enthusiasts. It is the online home of thousands of junior tennis players and their parents, with player profile web pages for over 60,000 high school and middle school tennis players.

The ITA and TennisRecruiting.net will collaborate on editorial content that will appear on www.itatennis.com and www.tennisrecruiting.net, with a focused goal of telling the stories of college tennis.

“Our friends at Tennis Recruiting Network provide a valuable resource to the tennis community, and we are excited to continue our relationship,” said ITA CEO Timothy Russell. “There’s always great excitement around the content Tennis Recruiting Network puts out, but especially so during its annual Signing Day coverage and ranking of the top recruiting classes. Through our combined efforts, we look forward to enhancing and expanding our editorial coverage.”

“One of our core goals is to help junior players connect with college tennis, and continuing to work with the ITA should obviously help us with that mission,” said Shannon Wrege, president of TRN. “The ITA has made great strides over the past couple of years, especially with their events and content outreach. We are excited to continue working with the ITA to expand our reach with college coaches, giving both colleges and players more options with respect to recruiting.”
