LOS ANGELES – Tennis Channel has added Hall of Fame coach Nick Bollettieri to its deep roster of influential tennis professionals and visionaries. Bollettieri will provide motivational tips, answer viewer questions via “Ask Nick” videos, write weekly articles for TennisChannel.com and sister site Tennis.com, and will likely contribute on air and to Tennis magazine. His first material is set to appear digitally this week during the network’s weeklong coverage of the Shanghai Rolex Masters tournament in China.

Bollettieri will share advice and insights gathered during the course of his storied career. His articles will cover a variety of subjects including fear, finding focus, leadership and what he has learned from coaching the world’s top players. Bollettieri will also participate in weekly Q&A sessions on Tennis Channel’s social media channels, allowing fans to ask him questions directly.

“I’m honored and excited to join the pioneering and innovative Tennis Channel and their team of talented tennis experts,” said Bollettieri. “I look forward to sharing with fans the insights I’ve acquired over my 60-year coaching career in tennis.”

In 1978 Bollettieri founded the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, now known as IMG Academy, the first full-time tennis boarding school. He has coached 10 World No. 1 players including Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Venus and Serena Williams, Boris Becker and Maria Sharapova. Along with his success as a coach, he has received countless honors, among them induction into the International Tennis Hall of Fame, United States Olympic Committee National Coach of the Year award and the ITF Lifetime Achievement Award.
