Tzvetkov appointed to PTR Board
Hilton Head Island, SC — Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) President, Roy Barth, has named Stefan Tzvetkov as a Presidential Appointee to the PTR Board of Directors.
Tzvetkov serves on the ITF Board of Directors, Chairman of the ITF Women’s Circuit, member of the ITF Athletes Commission Committee, Vice President of Tennis Europe and President of the International Lawn Tennis Club of Bulgaria. He is also President of the Bulgarian Tennis Federation and Vice President of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee. Tzvetkov is a former Tournament Director of the WTA Garanti Koza Tournament of Champions, Sofia (2012-2014), WTA TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Cup, Turkey (2015) and ATP TEB BNP Paribas Istanbul Open, Turkey (2015). PTR certified since 1996, Tzvetkov played college tennis for the University of Minnesota. He was also a Davis Cup player and Captain for Bulgaria, and played on the ATP Tour.
“Stefan brings a wealth of knowledge in many areas of tennis to the PTR Board,” said Roy Barth. “We look forward to his contribution and will benefit from his global experience and perspective.”
PTR is the largest global organization of tennis coaching professionals with more than 15,600 members in 125 countries. It has the greatest percentage of multicultural and women members of any such organization. PTR is dedicated to educating, certifying and servicing tennis teachers and coaches around the world in order to grow the game.
