Longoria completes season sweep

Vera Cruz, Mexico – For the fifth consecutive season and seventh overall, HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria finished atop the season ending rankings on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT). In the season ending Tour Rosa Mexicano event in Vera Cruz, Mexico, Longoria won her 11th tournament of the season. For the 2015-2016 LPRT Season, Paola won EVERY Tier One and Grand Slam event on the schedule! In her nine full seasons on the professional tour, Paola has won 71 tournaments.

HEAD Penn’s Maria Jose Vargas reached the quarterfinals in Mexico, cementing her No. 3 ranking among the World’s top female players. This season Maria reached four LPRT tournament finals.

The LPRT will take the summer off, however Paola and Maria will continue to hit the courts. Both ladies are expected to compete in the 2016 International Racquetball Federation’s (IRF) World Championships in mid-July in Cali, Colombia.
