Another event, another win for Longoria

San Antonio, Texas – Last week, Paola Longoria, the No. 1 ranked female racquetball player in the world, remained undefeated on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) for the 2015-2016 season with a straight game victory in the women’s singles finals of the Battle at the Alamo event in San Antonio. The win is Longoria’s ninth of the season and the 69th of her professional career.

In the Battle of the Alamo final, Paola defeated fellow HEAD Penn touring professional player Maria Jose Vargas. Currently ranked No. 3 in the world, Maria has reached four finals on the LPRT this season and the semifinals in every event she has appeared in.

Longoria also won the women’s doubles division in San Antonio. The LPRT will next travel to Stockton, California in mid-May. The season will conclude with a Grand Slam event in Veracruz, Mexico in June.
