Djokovic's incredible season

London, Great Britain - Novak Djokovic has set record after record during the best season of his career with the HEAD Racquet Rebel capping off 2015 with a decisive 6-3, 6-4 defeat over Roger Federer to become the first to win an unprecedented fourth straight title at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. The London triumph further enhanced the reputation of the Serb, who endorses the HEAD Graphene XT SPEED.

Djokovic dominated this year’s tour in all categories. Djokovic won his 11th trophy of the season as he played his 15th final. It was the eighth meeting of Djokovic and Federer in 2015 with the HEAD player leading 5-3. To finish 2015 as the world’s No. 1 player with 16.485 points, almost double the amount of points earned by fellow HEAD endorsee No. 2 Andy Murray (8.670 points), Djokovic won three Grand Slam tournaments in Melbourne, Wimbledon and New York. He also won six Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Miami, Monte Carlo, Rome, Shanghai and Paris Bercy. “This season could not have been better. It has been the best of my life. I’m trying to enjoy every moment on court and cherish competing at such a level. When you are growing up this is what you are dreaming of - competing for the biggest trophies in the sport.”

The No. 1 levelled his record with Federer at 22-22 in a series which began in 2006. He claimed the trophy with 13 winners and 14 unforced errors and never lost a serve in the 80-minute contest in front of 17,000 fans. Djokovic ends this season 82-6 and now has 59 career titles.
