TuringSense to sponsor USPTA Conference
Houston and Campbell, Calif.- The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) and TuringSense, a Silicon Valley pioneer of wearable sports technology, announced that TuringSense is an official sponsor of the USPTA World Conference in New Orleans, from Sept. 21 - 25, 2015. TuringSense said it will also use the event to officially launch the company. The USPTA is the country’s largest gathering of tennis professionals, industry leaders and representatives, manufacturers, wholesalers and media.
“TuringSense is proud to sponsor the USPTA World Conference and to launch our company at this marquee event,” said Limin He, Co-founder & CEO, TuringSense. “We wanted to show our commitment to tennis and felt this was the perfect venue to not only do that but also to unveil our first product. PIVOT, now in beta, is the most advanced motion capture technology designed to improve each player’s tennis game, and ultimately, help elevate the tennis industry. It is wearable technology that can truly empower and democratize tennis playing and training like never before.”
TuringSense is sponsoring both the USPTA World Conference mobile app and the flash drive. The free app allows users to stay connected, download important information and quickly receive updated information.
“In the last year we’ve seen a meteoric rise in sports analyzing technology. What are the implications for this technology? Where will this technology take us in the future? These are just some of the key questions that will drive the discussions at this year’s annual world conference,” said John Embree, CEO of USPTA. “We are delighted to have an innovator like TuringSense join us as a sponsor and to contribute to this important discourse.”
TuringSense will be exhibiting in Booth #601 during Thursday night’s Buying Show.
