PlayYourCourt, USTA Mid-Atlantic join forces
PlayYourCourt and the USTA Mid-Atlantic Section have entered into a formal partnership to grow the accessibility of tennis throughout Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington D.C.
PlayYourCourt operates with the mission to ignite the tennis experience at the community level by introducing lessons and programming at “dead” or underutilized facilities. Through their adaptive full service software and nationwide staff of top-rated tennis professionals, they make tennis more accessible to players in their local community.
Both companies are hyper focused on growing the sport of tennis and this partnership should quickly increase the accessibility of tennis throughout the Mid-Atlantic. USTA Mid-Atlantic Executive Director, Tara Fitzpatrick-Navarro elaborates on the importance of the partnership: “Tennis is a sport for a lifetime and can be played anywhere. It is important to us that all tennis facilities are used to capacity and PlayYourCourt is the right partner to help our members fill the courts. This partnership is also a perfect match with our mission to grow tennis and ensure everyone gets to play tennis.”
PlayYourCourt has had plenty of previous success in growing the sport of tennis having already worked with over 10,000+ students nationwide and this partnership promises continued growth, particularly for tennis in the Mid-Atlantic. “Aligning ourselves with a big entity like USTA Mid-Atlantic will take our model to a whole new level. I am excited to see just how convenient we can make tennis for players looking to get started with the USTA Mid-Atlantic’s help,” says Scott Baxter CEO and Founder of PlayYourCourt.
PlayYourCourt is revolutionizing the way tennis is delivered and growing participation by making the sport more accessible. While they have made a big impact already, a partnership with the USTA Mid-Atlantic suggests that the best is yet to come.
