Longoria returns to winning ways
Fountain Valley, California — HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria, the World’s No. 1 ranked player, bounced back from a rare tournament defeat earlier in the month to win the Southern California Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour event. In addition to winning the Professional Singles division in Fountain Valley, Longoria captured the Professional Doubles division.
The win in California becomes Paola’s 57th career tournament title on the LPRT. HEAD Penn’s Maria Jose Vargas spent her birthday week at the tournament and celebrated with another LPRT Finals appearance, likely propelling her to the No. 2 spot on the LPRT rankings list.
