HEAD official stringer at BNP Paribas Open

Indian Wells/USA — For fourteen days in March, HEAD will extend its vast experience in racquets and balls to a whole new area: The Company will serve as the official stringer for the 2015 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif., USA. In a dedicated area equipped with HEAD stringing machines, a total of 20 official HEAD stringers will ensure that racquets are always strung perfectly to match the tournament players’ personal needs and playing style.
While this is the first time in its history that HEAD offers their own stringing machines at a major tournament, the company is no stranger to the string business. Their extensive research ensures that players have access to the right string for his or her individual playing style. The newest HEAD string revolution, the GRAVITY™ Hybrid strings feature the unique combination of triangular main strings and round cross strings. Upon contact with the ball, the sharp edged triangular main string allows maximum bite on the ball, while the round and thin shaped cross strings provide a fast snap back effect, which accelerates the rotation of the ball for maximum spin and full trajectory control.
The BNP Paribas Open is the most-attended ATP World Tour and WTA tennis tournament in the world will be held March 9-22, 2015 at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
