HEAD is new official stringing team at BNPPO
Indian Wells, CA — HEAD Professional Stringing will take over the official stringing duties at the 2015 BNP Paribas Open, the first change in stringing teams at the March tournament in decades.
The BNP Paribas Open, often called the “fifth major,” is the largest professional two-week combined ATP World Tour Masters 1000 and WTA Premier tennis tournament in the world, with 96 players in the singles draws and 32 teams in the doubles draws. The main draw matches at this year’s event run from March 12 to 22.
While it is not known at this time what stringing machines HEAD Professional Stringing will be using at the BNP Paribas Open, there is speculation the company is set to introduce a new HEAD-branded machine.
