Albany welcomes Harry Gilbert

New Providence, The Bahamas – Albany, the luxury resort community in The Bahamas jointly owned by Tavistock Group, Tiger Woods and Ernie Els, is pleased to welcome United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Elite Professional and former USPTA National President Harry Gilbert as Executive Director of Tennis.

Recognized by Tennis Magazine as “one of America’s top teachers,” Gilbert will direct all aspects of Albany’s tennis program at the resort’s state-of-the-art Racquet Center that includes lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, hard courts, padel tennis facilities and a variety of specialty clinics and programs available for all ages and skillsets.

Gilbert will reside at Albany during high season from November through April. He will continue to spend the summer months as Director of Tennis at Waccabuc Country Club in Westchester County, N.Y., and will also continue to serve as a brand ambassador for Adidas and Head/Penn.
