Sport Court and Prince announce partnership

SALT LAKE CITY — Sport Court® and Prince® Global Sports today jointly announced a multi-year strategic business partnership designed to enhance awareness of their respective brands and products as established sports industry leaders.

The agreement will focus on marketing strategies including co-branded sponsorship of major tennis events and grass roots promotion of the sport using Sport Court modular courts and Prince products.

“Sport Court is extremely pleased to join the prestigious Prince brand in the promotion of our products centered on the engineered safety of our surfaces and the growth of the sport of tennis,” said Lee Sponaugle, Director of National Accounts and Tennis at Connor Sport Court International. “The sport of tennis is enjoying significant growth and we believe the partnership with Prince can help promote the sport and create incremental growth in our Sport Court products as safe and high-quality surfaces for recreational and competitive tennis play.”

As a centerpiece of the new alliance, Prince will use a unique Sport Court/Prince branded 36-foot PowerGame® court as part of a variety of marketing and grass roots initiatives and events to engage both current tennis players and to bring the fun and health benefits of the game to non-tennis audiences.

A key component of their new partnership, Sport Court and Prince have entered into a joint sponsorship of the 2015 BB&T Atlanta Open Family Zone, where the co-branded court will be center-stage of various fun, family-friendly activities.
