Babolat enhances Propulse shoe range
Babolat, leading tennis brand, launches the latest generation of the popular Propulse shoe. Thanks to careful, ongoing observations of tennis players and their game, Babolat has developed an innovative new construction platform for the 2015 Propulse range: the BPM System.
Starting, stopping, jumping, landing, shifting, braking, rebounding… sideways, forward, backward sprints … it’s all about rhythm. Aggressive, feather-light, close to the ground, up in the air, explosive … every player has a different rhythm - their own “beat” - with different needs in terms of shoes.
The new Babolat Propulse BPM All Court shoe enables players to boost their footwork, giving their game a fresh new rhythm. The new BPM System focuses on three key aspects of the shoe’s construction:
- New TI-Fit last: Optimal material distribution based on tennis players’ footwork, the new TI-Fit (Tennis Inside) feature provides strategically positioned support (heel, instep, forefoot) for precise, sure footing and comfortable flexing and bending of the foot.
- Side2Side forefoot dynamism: asymmetric, high rebound; restores the energy of the impact
- Exclusive Michelin OCS2 sole: Optimum grip/sliding balance on all types of courts and extra durability due to the exclusive outsole co-developed with Michelin.
“Our objective is to create a shoe that players essentially forget about; that performs and fits so well that they’re free to focus on playing the best tennis they can play,” says Cécile Gindre, international footwear product manager at Babolat. “The new Propulse BPM All Court is a great shoe for support and resistance, while also being lighter and having a more comfortable first fit.”
Babolat’s exclusive design offers players great support, durability and comfort while keeping the shoe light in weight. The new BPM shoe has a bold, youthful, dynamic look to reflect its modern technologies, keeping with the tradition of the Propulse range.
