Kid named sales manager for Volkl
San Diego, CA — Volkl Tennis announced today that Paul Kid has joined the company as the US National Sales Manager.
According to Sean Frost, Managing Director of Volkl Tennis “Paul has a rich history of sales and product development in the tennis industry. He brings a huge base of information that will benefit our company, our sales force and our customers. We feel Paul has the tools to take us to the next level.”
“I have been able to meet the entire team and we have a group with the knowledge, energy and drive to keep Volkl progressing forward. The Volkl brand has always been known for its extremely high quality and innovation. My goal is to help make Volkl more available in all markets across the country,” according to Kid. “Tennis has been my life since I was young, playing juniors, then college tennis at Idaho State University and Baylor University.” After coaching the women’s Baylor University tennis team, Kid began his career path by focusing on sales and product development and sales in the tennis industry. “I look forward to this great opportunity of working with Sean and the rest of the team as we find ways to grow the brand.”
This announcement was made at the company’s annual sales meeting in San Diego where four new racquets were debuted. The four new frames are Super G updates and include:
- Super G 1 with Power Arm
- Super G V-1 MidPlus
- Super G V-1 Oversize
- Super G 7
The Super G updates to the line of Organix racquets continues to show Volkl’s commitment to the industry. The Super G technology enhances the playability of the racquet, increasing playability, string bed liveliness while giving super dampening characteristic which have made Volkl famous!
