Head Penn players dominate pro racquetball

Huixquilucan, Mexico — HEAD Penn players made up three of the four finalists in the events on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) and the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) last weekend. At the Abiertos Mexicano de Raquetas event in Mexico, HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria and Maria Jose Vargas again met in the tournament final with Paola coming out victorious.

Paola Longoria’s consecutive match winning streak on the LPRT now sits at 145 matches, while her consecutive professional tournament winning streak pushed to 36. The win was Longoria’s 52nd career tournament title on the LPRT.

In the IRT season opener in San Marcos, Texas, HEAD Penn’s Rocky Carson reached the event’s final without dropping a single game.

Paola and Maria’s next event is the UnitedHealthcare US OPEN Racquetball Championships the second weekend of October in Minneapolis.
