Gaultier, Rodriguez advance to semis
SAN FRANCISCO — No. 1 seed Gregory Gaultier (France) and No. 4 seed Miguel Angel Rodriguez (Colombia) will advance to the Semifinals of the PSA World Tour International 70 Tournament in San Francisco on September 29 at 8:00 p.m. on the Glass Court.
Gaultier pulled off another 3-0 victory against Chris Simpson (England) in 31 minutes on the Glass Court at Justin Herman Plaza.
Rodriguez was up 2-0 against No. 5 Laurens Jan Anjema when Anjema was forced to retire due to a chronic ankle injury.
The remaining quarterfinal matches will be played tomorrow night at the Glass Court on the South Lawn at Justin Herman Plaza, culminating in Tuesday’s championship.
