HEAD Penn sales management changes
HEAD is pleased to announce a structural change in their sales management team.
Effective immediately Joe Keenan will be promoted to National Sales Manager in charge of all HEAD Penn USA’s sales efforts. Joe has an impressive history in the sporting goods industry including running his own multi-line sales agency, managing key account business as well as North American sales teams and has been with HEAD for the past 3 years as the Western Regional and Key Account Manager.
Replacing Joe as Western Regional Manager is Erik Lange who will report to Joe. Erik is new to the HEAD team, but has an extensive history in the racquet sports industry starting with owning pro specialty shops in the Pacific Northwest and evolving into manufacturer’s Sales management experience with other brands.
The change in structure is a result of HEAD veteran and Regional Manager Trevor Lavelle’s decision to retire after an 18-year career at HEAD. Trevor will retire at the end of March. John Tranfaglia will continue in his role as Regional Manager and will take up much of the Southeast in addition to his current territory.
“Change can be exciting and this new structure positions us appropriately for the growth we’ve experienced and the momentum the brands have. This will help us build even more growth after 2012/2013 being back to back record sales years,” said Senior VP of Sales and Marketing Greg Mason. “Both Joe and Erik bring a wealth of experience as well as unique ideas. Their approach will help take us to an even higher level.”
