TMC launches Tennis Tuesday
New York, New York — Tennis Media Company (TMC) Managing Partners Robert Miller and George Mackin announced the launch of a new digital magazine called Tennis Tuesday. Delivered every week, the highly interactive digital-only publication serves as a stand-alone product to be consumed on desktop browsers, tablet devices and mobile phones.
“Tennis Tuesday represents a giant leap in the evolution of Tennis Media Company’s product offerings,” Robert Miller said. “We’re constantly striving for additional ways to serve our growing audience of tennis enthusiasts, and I have no doubt that this latest innovative product is going to be a huge hit.”
Available at TennisTuesday.net, the new digital magazine picks up where Tennis Media Company’s previous digital-only magazine, Tennis15-30, left off after nearly two years of publication since its launch in early 2011. One of the key differences between Tennis15-30 and Tennis Tuesday, besides the increased frequency, is the fact that the technology of Tennis Tuesday is driven by Ceros, a platform that allows publishers to create highly interactive user experiences to be delivered not only via web and tablet, but also on smartphones.
“Each issue of Tennis Tuesday will continue to offer the latest insight on the pro circuit, as well as tips for the frequent players among our audience to be able to improve their games,” Miller said. “The weekly offering will not only do all of this with twice the frequency of Tennis15-30, but it will do so with an enhanced user-friendly experience that works as well on a phone as it does on a desktop—and devices of all sizes in between.”
Providing coverage from the sport’s most renowned players, instructors, personalities and writers, each edition of Tennis Tuesday offers compelling on- and off-court insight into both the men’s and women’s professional tennis tours. Frequent players receive exactly what they need to improve their games, from racquet, apparel and gear reviews to such compelling features as video instruction given by legendary 18-time Grand Slam singles champion Chris Evert.
“Tennis Tuesday allows us to continue to offer world-class written and video content, and to do so in a way that’s quicker, more efficient and more creative than in the past,” George Mackin said. “It’s yet another way that Tennis Media Company is expanding our consumer base while creating new market opportunities for advertisers, tournaments and sponsors.”
Jeff Williams, Group Publisher of Tennis Media Company, said, “We believe this new digital-only publication, created by our team of world-class tennis writers and experts, further solidifies our place as the unrivaled premier source of all news, entertainment and information surrounding tennis. Advertisers will have increased opportunities to reach consumers with video-enhanced ads and direct links to the advertisers’ sites. We expect Tennis Tuesday to be a win/win for the both the consumer and our partners in the advertising community.”
