Longoria continues winning streak
Stockton, California — HEAD Penn’s Paola Longoria — the No. 1 Female Racquetball Player in the World — started the 2013-2014 season on the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LRPT) exactly where she left off last season with yet another tournament victory. Without dropping a game during the tournament, Longoria cruised to win the 2014 Stockton Pro-Am using HEAD’s Zeus racquet.
The win in Stockton was Longoria’s 21st consecutive tournament victory. The last time she was defeated on the professional tour was in May 2011. Her streak of consecutive matches won during her tournament win streak now sits at 84. At the age of only 24, Paola has captured four Year End Titles on the professional women’s racquetball tour, 11 gold medals playing in international competitions for her home country of Mexico, and she is the two-time reigning US OPEN Racquetball Champion.
HEAD Penn’s Maria Jose Vargas also finished well in Stockton by reaching the semifinals. Like Longoria, Vargas showed success on the court using HEAD’s Zeus racquet.
