USPTA Florida partners with Club Med
The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Florida Division and Club Med announce a new partnership that makes Club Med Sandpiper Bay the official home of the USPTA Florida Division through June 2014.
The partnership will provide USPTA Florida Division members with preferred benefits at Club Med resorts. In addition, Club Med will extend Preferred Partner rates for meetings, incentives, conferences and events for the Association as well as USPTA divisions outside of Florida on a per request basis.
As the official home of the USPTA Florida Division, Club Med Sandpiper Bay will be the host of the Division’s annual convention every two years as well as Association board meetings, certification tests and sponsored tournaments. The USPTA Florida Division and Club Med recently signed a contract for Club Med Sandpiper Bay to host the 2014 Conference. Club Med Sandpiper Bay has previously hosted USPTA Florida Division Conferences in 2011 and 2012. Popular for meetings of all types, Sandpiper Bay Club Med gives guests access to an unparalleled sports infrastructure and the only L’Occitane spa in the U.S., in addition to Club Med’s broad all-inclusive offering that includes unlimited gourmet dining and premium drinks, upscale accommodations and active, educational children’s programs.
Jeff Cohen, USPTA Regional Vice President, notes, “This agreement marks the beginning of a partnership between two premier brands, Club Med and USPTA. We’ve aligned ourselves, which will create more value for both organizations. I couldn’t be happier with the Club Med associates, management team and organization as a whole! A win-win for all!” “We are thrilled to become the Official Home of the USPTA Florida Division,” commented Patrick Mitchell, Vice President Sales, USA. “Club Med Sandpiper Bay is our ‘premium sports’ resort and with world-class coaching in tennis, golf and fitness at the Club Med Academies, the partnership is a perfect fit for our two organizations.”
